Werner Enterprises is a transportation and logistics company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The company operates across multiple freight segments, including one-way truckload, dedicated, temperature-controlled, intermodal, and final mile delivery. Its SkillBridge program runs at 20 locations across 14 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

Through the Werner Enterprises Employer Sponsored Training Program (ESTP), transitioning service members complete a four-week, in-person training program focused on commercial driving. Participants receive CDL-A training through Werner's school network using late model equipment with automatic transmissions. The curriculum covers the skills and knowledge required to pass the CDL-A skills test. Depending on individual track, training may also include endorsement options in HAZMAT, double/triples, tankers, and passenger.

The program is performance-based and can be completed on an individual or cohort basis. Upon finishing the program, graduates are placed in a CDL-A driving position with Werner Enterprises anywhere in the continental United States. The program runs one to thirty days and is conducted entirely in person.

The Werner Enterprises Employer Sponsored Training Program (ESTP) is an exciting and innovative opportunity designed to secure high-quality, skills-based training for transitioning Service members in commercial driving and provides immediate and meaningful employment with Werner Enterprises upon transition. ESTP is a performance based program completed in four weeks. Transitioning Service members will be offered an opportunity to receive CDL-A training through Werner's school network on an individual or cohort basis using late model equipment with automatic transmissions. The curriculum is designed for students to develop skills to obtain a CDL-A, as well as options for endorsement training in HAZMAT, double/triples, tankers and passenger.
