MOU status: DoD MOU current through June 10, 2027.

What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

The Maintenance Cadence Leader is responsible for designing, leading, and continuously improving the end to end maintenance planning and execution rhythm for the site. This role ensures that preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are planned, scheduled, executed, and reviewed in a disciplined cadence that supports Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors, Technicians, Operators, EHS, and Production Leaders to align priorities and constraints.

What the work involves

Qualifications / Requirements: Active Military Personnel during the last 180 days of Military. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years in maintenance, reliability, or operations roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment; experience leading cross-functional routines or cadences is strongly preferred. Experience with lean principles, standard work, visual management, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, fishbone, A3). Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management; ability to influence without direct authority; comfort working across functions and levels. Key Competencies • Structured facilitation: Able to run focused, productive daily/weekly maintenance and operations meetings. • Analytical thinking: Uses data to drive decisions, prioritization, and improvement actions. • Results orientation: Balances long-term reliability improvement with short-term delivery commitments. • Collaboration: Builds strong working relationships with production, maintenance, engineering, and EHS. • Continuous improvement mindset: Challenges the status quo and leads structured improvement efforts. Individuals selected for this internship will have the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks
