What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

What the work involves

As a Certified Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to warm sales leads by visiting homeowners, conducting roof and property inspections, guiding customers through the restoration process, and providing solutions to help fund any needed repairs. You will also be responsible for generating new leads by canvassing neighborhoods where property damage has occurred and speaking with homeowners about risks and solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Other responsibilities include: Generating sales leads through neighborhood canvassing and door knocking Rapidly responding to warm sales leads to close contracts for our services Traveling to areas recently hit by storm damage to identify signs of roof and property damage Climbing onto roofs and into attics to conduct damage assessments and presenting findings to homeowners (thorough training will be provided)Educating homeowners on the restoration process and serving as a technical advisor to effectively resolve client concerns Providing estimates and funding options and collecting payments as required Working with insurance companies and meeting with adjusters to facilitate the best outcomes possible for homeowners Obtaining agreements and contracts from homeowners for roof restoration services Attending weekly sales meetings and actively participating in team communication
