MOU status: DoD MOU current through May 28, 2027.

What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

If this is you, then Zel Tech, LLC has a unique opportunity to help launch the next chapter in your professional life. Our DoD SkillBridge Internship Program matches civilian opportunities to your job training and work experience. While filling this position you will continue to receive military compensation and benefits. Internship could be from 6 – 24 weeks long depending on availability of service member and can commence within the final 180-days before a service member leaves active duty.

What the work involves

Must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in DOD Instruction 1322.29. • Command approval via Zel Tech, LLC SkillBridge Application. • Official TAD/ TDY Orders to Zel Tech, LLC for the period of the internship. • Demonstrate basic knowledge of civilian employment laws and human resources best practices. • Goal oriented and comfortable with deadlines/ tight timelines for filling job vacancies. • Ability to work within and utilize many social media platforms. • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Ability and willingness to network, plus build and maintain professional relationships with managers, candidates, resource organizations, and team members. • Ability to handle confidential information. • Continue to build on knowledge and skill in all topics covered in prior weeks. • Successful background check. • Document complex technical processes and business requirements in clear, concise, and user-friendly formats, including manuals, SOPs, user guides, technical volumes for RFP’s and system documentation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business needs and translate them into actionable documentation and requirements. • Conduct gap analyses and workflow assessments to identify areas for improvement and support the development of optimized business solutions. • Create and maintain detailed business documents, functional specifications, and use cases to support development and process enhancements. • Ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards by managing version control, documentation repositories, and contributing to knowledge management initiatives.

What the work involves

Responsibilities: • Assist with the creation of initial historical record of sensor responses to respective fielded environments and emplacements. • Assist with the technical analytical support in the area of speed of lighr (SOL) technologies (gamma, EMP, optical and tellerlight). • Calibrate with Leadership on data and develop models, using spreadsheets, databases and pragmatic, numerical approaches to solve problems. • Observe the gathering of relevant hard and soft data from systems at various levels within the organization. • Observing sensor State of Health trending data using structured Query language (SQL) scripts. • Observing the analytical methods, such as simulation, network analysis, decision analysis, multi-criteria analysis, scenario analysis, soft systems modelling, optimization, and queuing theory. • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished orally or in writing.
