What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Intern Responsibilities: 1.Assists in patient preparation for treatment. 2.Performs patient assessments including vital signs, blood glucose checks. 3.Reinforces education as it relates to hyperbaric therapy. 4.Keeps complete and accurate patient records as they pertain to treatment documentation. 5.Performs duties and procedures as directed by the Safety Director. 6.Performs hyperbaric chambers operations and system maintenance as required. 7.Participates in quality assurance program. 8.Supports clinical hyperbaric facility accreditation. 9.Participates in the safety program. 10.Maintains competencies, continuing education and certifications as appropriate. 11.Ensures UOC compliance with NFPA 99, Hyperbaric Facilities, and with unit safety policies and procedures. 12.Ensures UOC compliance with JCAHO, Department of Health, and UHMS accreditation standards. 13.Reviews all UOC safety incidents, collects information regarding equipment/patient safety, reports relevant incidents to the Program Manager and Safety Director, and periodically provides in-service training on accident prevention. 14.Works closely with the Safety Director to develop and annually review/revise UOC policies and procedures and operational and maintenance documents. 15.Ensures that all UOC bills are properly coded and submitted and that each treatment is tracked and reported to the Program Director and Safety Director. 16.Ensures that Physicians sign all required documents. 17.Fosters a positive relationship between the UOC and local Fire Marshall, Emergency Medical Services Director, and Pressure Vessel Inspector, as appropriate. 18.Works closely with the Safety Director to coordinate and approve all hyperbaric chamber upgrades, modifications, and repairs to the hyperbaric systems, including interaction with hospital maintenance, and that all activities are done in accordance with appropriate safety standards. Ensures that the testing of all modifications is performed before manned pressurization. 19.Evaluates hyperbaric chamber equipment/supplies used in the chamber and ensures that they meet all safety requirements before they are permitted inside the chamber. 20.Maintains a safe environment in the UOC for patients and staff and uses approved and recognized monoplace treatment protocols. 21.Informs personnel of any special work conditions such as infection control, hazard control, and confined spaces.
