What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Navigators Staff shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. This position serves the Military Ministry of The Navigators by receiving training from The Navigators in order to better invest in Navigator Staff, soldiers, first responders, fire fighters, and emergency technicians, so that the gospel of Jesus and His kingdom is advanced

What the work involves

Disciple others through one-to-one mentoring, small group Bible studies, large group meetings, retreats, and conferences (local and regional). Create an encouraging environment where disciples can become leaders and laborers, laying the foundation for multiplying and generational ministries. Empower these disciples to reach out to the diverse cultures of our nation and to the nations. • Participate on a local staff team, increasingly experiencing community marked by vulnerability, grace, love, and truth. • Participate in other ministry activities: sports, recreational outreach and fellowship activities, hosting people in your home, cookouts, developing relationships with appropriate administrators, etc. • Create and execute a plan for personal and ministry development. • Participate in development events as appropriate. • Engage in Bible study designed to further your ministry effectiveness. • Receive continued development, training, and mentoring from veteran Navs Staff or other believers
