What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Alliance Chaplain Ministries (ACM) is seeking a transitioning service member through the DoD SkillBridge program to serve as a Grant Project Manager and Non-Profit Organization Intern. This unique opportunity allows the candidate to contribute to a growing ministry that supports military and federal chaplaincies by equipping, advocating, and seeking financial assistance for applicants for Alliance seminarians and clergy on a chaplain pursuit. The program format consists of a 60-day internship working directly with the Executive Director of ACM. The Intern will provide program organization, denominational representation, and pastoral care to ACM’s Chaplains, Chaplain Candidates, and their families. The candidate will also represent their interests to the broader Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) denomination.

Key responsibilities include: • Screening eligible seminarian candidates based on financial need. • Identifying and engaging with grant-offering organizations, foundations, and philanthropists. • Managing grant applications and coordinating funding distribution to support seminary education. • Recruiting and onboarding potential chaplain applicants. • Providing pastoral care and strategic organizational planning. • Assisting in the development of training events and sharing the mission and vision of the C&MA Chaplaincy. • Participating in regular meetings with C&MA denominational staff to foster collaboration and alignment.
