What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

The Healthcare Retail Operations and Supply Chain Management Training Program provides service members with hands-on training in healthcare retail operations, inventory management, procurement processes, vendor coordination, and supply chain management within a medical apparel and healthcare equipment retail environment. Participants will develop transferable workforce skills through structured operational training, mentorship, and exposure to retail business administration and healthcare supply chain systems.

What the work involves

Manage and maintain healthcare retail inventory systems for medical apparel and clinical equipment Track product availability, stock levels, and inventory turnover rates Assist with procurement processes, including product ordering and purchase order preparation Coordinate with vendors regarding product availability, pricing, and supply needs Review and assist with vendor agreements and procurement documentation Verify incoming shipments and reconcile inventory records Operate point-of-sale systems and process retail transactions Analyze sales and inventory data to support purchasing and operational decisions Support daily retail store operations, including merchandising and product organization Maintain accurate operational records and inventory documentation Participate in operational improvement projects related to inventory management and supply chain efficiency
