What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Spiral Networks is looking for a mission-driven AI Systems Architect to join the team — our real-time AI-powered situational awareness platform. In this role you will design, build, and stress-test the AI pipeline that processes live video feeds, detects anomalies, and flags threats before they escalate. You will own the architecture from sensor input to alert output, while simultaneously acting as the team's red team lead — actively trying to break, fool, and bypass the system so we can harden it for real-world deployment. This is a builder's role at the intersection of computer vision, security engineering, and adversarial machine learning.

Eligibility

We strongly encourage applications from transitioning service members and veterans. The following military backgrounds map directly to the work here and will be given particular weight in our review: Intelligence, ISR, and surveillance operations. Experience interpreting real-time sensor and video data, assessing threat indicators, and making time-critical decisions under ambiguity directly parallels how Spi Alert classifies and prioritizes alerts. Cyber warfare, penetration testing, and offensive operations. Adversarial mindset, structured attack planning, and exploit documentation skills are exactly what the red-team function requires. Prior red team certification or offensive cyber experience is a strong differentiator. Signals intelligence and electronic warfare. Deep familiarity with signal collection pipelines, noise discrimination, and sensor fusion translates directly to building robust video and data ingestion systems that perform under degraded conditions. Military IT systems, network operations, and C4ISR. Experience managing secure communications infrastructure, network architecture, and mission-critical uptime requirements aligns with our reliability and latency standards for live alert delivery. Operations and planning experience (any MOS/rate with structured staff or command roles) Service members who have written operation orders, conducted after-action reviews, or managed complex multi-team coordination bring structured communication and documentation habits that accelerate our team's pace.

What the work involves

Design the video AI pipeline. Architect end-to-end ingestion, pre-processing, and inference workflows for live and recorded video streams using cloud-native and edge infrastructure. Build and tune detection models. Train, fine-tune, and evaluate computer vision and anomaly detection models. Establish benchmarks for accuracy, latency, and false-positive rates that meet operational thresholds. Conduct adversarial testing. Execute structured red-team campaigns against the AI system — crafting evasion attacks, data poisoning scenarios, environmental spoofing, and sensor manipulation tests to expose and close vulnerabilities before deployment. Document and brief findings. Produce clear technical reports, threat models, and risk assessments. Present findings to engineering and leadership in structured after-action style reviews. Mentor through live OJT. Work side-by-side with senior architects and SkillBridge participants in synchronous code walk through, sessions, meetings, and structured check-ins — minimum 120 hours of hands-on collaborative training across the three-phase program. Summary

Development SkillBridge internship is a fully remote, open to nationwide candidates, 24-week program designed for transitioning service members with a background in technical writing, proposal development, and program management. Participants will receive hands-on training in identifying government contracting opportunities across federal, state, and local procurement platforms — including SAM.gov, PASSPort, Bonfire, eMMA (e Maryland Marketplace Advantage), eVA (Commonwealth of Virginia), NYS Contract Reporter, NYC Department of Education procurement portal, and NJ procurement portals. The candidate will learn to prepare and submit competitive proposals for IT and cybersecurity services. No new cybersecurity technical skills are taught; candidates are expected to already have relevant writing and organizational experience. Upon completion, participants will have practical, portfolio-ready experience in the full government bid lifecycle — from opportunity search through electronic submission — and will be evaluated for a direct offer of employment.

What the work involves

The Program Manager — Government Procurement & Proposal Development will learn to plan, manage, and execute activities related to identifying government contracting opportunities across federal, state, and local procurement platforms and developing competitive, compliant proposals for cybersecurity services. The candidate enters this role with demonstrated experience in technical writing or proposal writing and will apply those skills immediately to real contracting opportunities under senior mentor supervision. The Program Manager will develop proficiency in navigating government procurement portals including SAM.gov (federal); PASSPort (New York City agencies); Bonfire (used by numerous municipal and county agencies across multiple states); eMMA — e Maryland Marketplace Advantage (Maryland state agencies); eVA — Commonwealth of Virginia e Procurement portal; NYS Contract Reporter (New York State agencies); NYC Department of Education procurement portal; and NJ procurement portals (New Jersey state, county, and municipal agencies). Using these platforms, the candidate will learn to identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities aligned to the company's cybersecurity service capabilities. Following opportunity identification, the Program Manager will learn to prepare all components of a compliant proposal response — including executive summaries, technical approaches, management plans, past performance narratives, pricing forms, and required certifications — and will learn how to submit bids electronically through the appropriate procurement portal. This is a fully remote Position and is open to candidates nationwide.
