What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Transitioning Military Leadership into a High-Growth Civilian Career. Safe Haven Security is proud to partner with the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program to help transitioning service members build successful careers in sales leadership, business operations, and people management. Our 180-day Manager Academy SkillBridge Fellowship provides immersive, hands-on experience working alongside experienced leaders while developing the business, leadership, and operational skills needed to launch a long-term management career. This isn’t a classroom-only program—you’ll gain real-world experience leading teams, driving business results, and learning how high-performing organizations grow. We’re seeking transitioning service members who:-Demonstrate leadership experience-Thrive in fast-paced, performance-driven environments-Enjoy coaching and developing others-Have strong communication and problem-solving skills-Are motivated by growth and continuous learning-Want to build a long-term civilian leadership career No prior sales experience is required. Military leadership experience, coachability, and a desire to lead are valued most. Successful graduates may be considered for placement into full-time salaried leadership positions within Safe Haven Security, based on business needs, performance, and available opportunities.

What the work involves

Throughout the six-month fellowship, you’ll progressively develop experience in:-Residential sales and customer acquisition-Lead generation and business development-Revenue production and sales strategy-Recruiting and interviewing talent-Coaching, training, and developing employees-Performance management and accountability-Business operations and reporting-CRM systems, forecasting, and operational planning-Leadership communication and team management As your knowledge grows, you’ll take on increasing responsibility while receiving structured mentorship from experienced sales and operations leaders. Training Includes:-On-the-job training-Leadership mentoring-Classroom instruction-Performance coaching-Hands-on operational experience-Competency-based evaluations throughout each phase At Safe Haven Security, we believe great leaders can come from many backgrounds. Our Manager Academy is designed to help veterans translate their military experience into meaningful civilian leadership opportunities.
