This often involves conducting awareness training, reporting of suspicious incidents, and liaison with partner agencies. Defensive counterintelligence agents also train personnel on protection of classified information and awareness. Must have an active Top Secret/SCI.

What the work involves
Telecommunications Equipment Operator, GS-0390-7/8/9Under general supervision, Public Safety Dispatchers perform operational duties required in dispatching law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel and equipment. Public Safety Dispatchers answer 9-1-1, emergency, and non-emergency calls; interview callers to determine nature and priority of each call; and transmit messages via radio, data terminals, and phone. The Pentagon Operations Center operates on a 7-day, 24-hour basis and Public Safety Dispatchers are required to work a variety of schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
