What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Orion Talent SkillBridge program follows the Recruiter Development Program “Rocket Program” schedule for the first 3 weeks of employment. The Rocket Program, is intended to teach attendees everything they need to know to start a career in the Recruiting industry. Additionally, we will provide remote learning across manufacturing, Semi-conductor, Logistics and other Technical Fields for transitioning members going into those fields.

What the work involves

Serve as a primary point of contact for transitioning Officers and degreed enlisted throughout your assigned region. Market, source, and identify these candidates, develop relationships with them, and prepare them for an upcoming transition into Corporate America. Develop a pool of strong candidates who have transitioned and have post-military experience and are on the market. Actively recruit quality candidates for current openings and upcoming hiring events. Assist with resume creation and revision, career options and interview preparation. Work key base contacts and seek out opportunities to develop relevant relationships (Honor Foundation for example) and establish a referral base. Present webinars on resume preparation, interview preparation, and career transition topics. Utilize Social Media and other Marketing techniques to increase company awareness and visibility in key candidate demographics. Fulfillment Provide recruiting support to fulfill assigned Direct Placement recruiting targets. Be prepared to support and run hiring events as you gain experience in the field. Travel to hiring events to assist with or oversee candidate management and conference coordination as needed. Prepare candidates for interviews, get feedback following interviews and help guide the process through the point of receiving and accepting an offer.
