Summary
Bathymetrists receive, analyze, and deconflict U.S. and foreign bathymetric data for use by the Intelligence Community (IC) and external customers. They populate and maintain data and metadata in the bathymetry database, ensuring the accuracy of metadata pertaining to collection source platforms and depth recording devices. They also provide customers with conflated and corrected mission-specific data.

Applicants must posses an active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
What the work involves
Candidates with a background (i.e. Knowledge and/or experience) in hydrography or oceanography are ideal candidates for this opportunity. Qualifications must be clearly defined in resume.1. Rudimentary experience responding to internal and external customer needs. 2. Rudimentary experience with Geographic Information System (GIS).3. Demonstrated experience identifying issues with geophysical (i.e. Bathymetric, seismic, etc.) data.

Summary
1. Conduct market research, develop and implement acquisition plans/strategies for moderately complex acquisitions, coordinating with the program office, and when necessary, senior contracting officers to clarify issues; Independently prepare noncomplex requests for proposals and, with assistance, complex requests for proposals. 2. Review proposals and draft moderately complex contractual documents, and with assistance, complex documents; Independently conduct research regarding contract type and clauses; Coordinate with the program office, senior contracting officers, and OGC for inclusion of special contract requirements. 3. Administer moderately complex contracts, including monitoring contractor performance in collaboration with contracting officer representatives; Independently prepare non-complex modifications, negotiate contract changes, and resolve routine and, with assistance, non-routine problems; Terminate and close out contracts

Experience preparing contract modifications, resolving problems, and/or completing contract closeouts. 5. Experience conducting Cost or Price Analysis

Imagery Analysts analyze and interpret imagery to support U.S. military and policymaker interests. They analyze the activities and interests of countries, regions, and non-state entities, as well as the impact of natural and man-made disasters. In addition, these analysts conduct multi-INT research, populate and exploit intelligence databases, produce and disseminate moderately complex intelligence products, and defend their findings in a variety of forums. Imagery Analysts develop regional or functional expertise. They maintain relationships with their IC counterparts, international partners, and customers.

Summary
Maritime Analysts perform moderately complex assignments to collect, analyze, and consolidate maritime safety of navigation information to populate maritime navigation databases in order to disseminate standardized data, products and services. These analysts also disseminate worldwide navigations warnings, provide quality assurance for maritime products, and generate moderately complex mission-specific datasets. They develop responses for review to queries from national and international customers.

Candidates with a background (i.e. Knowledge and/or experience) in navigation or quartermaster are ideal candidates for this opportunity. Qualifications must be clearly defined in resume. Maritime Analysts collect, analyze, and consolidate maritime safety of navigation information to populate maritime navigation databases in order to disseminate standardized data, products and services. They also promulgate worldwide navigational warnings, provide quality assurance for maritime products, generate mission-specific datasets, and respond to queries from national and international customers. These duties fulfill NGA’s Maritime Safety Office obligations under U.S. Code Title 10, Federal and international laws, regulations, and national security.
