What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

What the work involves

SkillBridge Internship – Public Sector Business Development & AI Strategy Company: MLtwist Location: Remote (or Hybrid, if applicable) Duration: Up to 180 Days (per SkillBridge guidelines) Clearance Requirement: None (Preferred: Military Intelligence, IT, or Acquisition experience)About MLtwist: MLtwist specializes in data labeling for AI and ML applications, with a focus on high-quality audio data annotation. Our customers include leading AI-driven organizations, and we are expanding our public sector footprint by helping government agencies leverage AI and ML data preparation. Internship Overview: As a SkillBridge Intern – Public Sector Business Development & AI Strategy, you will play a critical role in helping MLtwist identify and pursue government contracting opportunities. You will work across sales, engineering, and product teams to develop proposals, conduct market research, and strategize how MLtwist can support AI initiatives within government agencies. Key Responsibilities:✅ Government Contracting & Opportunity Identification: Research public sector AI/data labeling opportunities listed on SAM.gov and other federal procurement sites. Identify relevant solicitations, RFIs, and RFPs that align with MLtwist’s capabilities. Track and analyze government trends related to AI/ML adoption.✅ Proposal Development & Coordination: Assist in writing and structuring government proposals in collaboration with engineering, product, and sales teams. Develop capability statements, white papers, and past performance summaries to position MLtwist as a strong government partner. Ensure compliance with federal procurement requirements and deadlines.✅ Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market analysis on government agencies investing in AI, ML, and data annotation. Identify key decision-makers, contracting officers, and government AI initiatives. Map out potential verticals within the public sector that require AI data preparation services.✅ AI/ML Learning & Strategy Development: Gain a foundational understanding of AI, ML, and data labeling processes. Research how AI is being applied across DoD, intelligence, and civilian agencies. Work with MLtwist leadership to define a government AI strategy and position MLtwist for long-term federal engagement. Who You Are: A transitioning service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge. Interest in government contracting, AI/ML, and business development. Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to break down complex information. Excellent writing and communication skills (technical writing experience a plus).Experience in operations, intelligence, IT, acquisitions, or business development is a plus.
