What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

The Datacenter Pathway (MDP) Fellowship is a free, 12-week workforce development program, in partnership with Hiring our Heroes, designed to help transitioning service members build the skills and experience needed for careers in Datacenter Operations. Program costs are fully funded by , including virtual instructor-led training, learning materials, and one week of -funded on-site technical training at a designated training facility in the United States. Participants are responsible for personal expenses not covered by the program. Through a combination of technical training, professional development, mentorship, and hands-on datacenter readiness activities, participants gain the knowledge required for high-demand roles such as Critical Environment Technician (CET) and Datacenter Technician (DCT). Throughout the program, fellows receive support from employees, alumni, and industry professionals while building the skills needed to succeed in a datacenter environment. Program participants work toward the opportunity to interview for full-time employment with upon successful completion of the fellowship.

Service members (all branches) ready to begin the MDP application process must hold a current honorable service status and must secure command authorization. What the work involves

CETs (Critical Environment Technicians) are responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure and environmental conditions of our datacenters, which power our cloud services and products. DCTs (Datacenter Technicians) are responsible for delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for ’s online services. Both CETs and DCTS work with cutting-edge technology and equipment, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure the reliability and security of our datacenters.
