MOU status: DoD MOU current through April 29, 2027.

What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Strengthening our nation’s infrastructure isn’t for the weak. It takes grit, determination, and hard work to execute high impact projects. Michels Corporation engages 10,000 people and over 18,000 pieces of heavy equipment in our insatiable drive to be the best. The DOW SkillBridge program provides transitioning Service members with the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through industry training, internships, apprenticeships, and job-training opportunities during the final 180 days of military service. The program connects Service members with participating employers, allowing them to develop new skills and explore career opportunities while still serving on active duty. With command approval, eligible Service members may participate full-time in an approved SkillBridge program during their transition from military to civilian life. Participants continue to receive their military pay and benefits throughout the program. As a DoD SkillBridge partner, Michels offers hands-on learning experiences that help Service members build industry knowledge, strengthen professional skills, and prepare for successful civilian careers. Position Summary As a Project Controls/ Project Manager, you will be embedded with the Michels project team, working alongside experienced project professionals in project controls, project management, and field operations. What It Takes • Active Military personnel on their last 180 days of Military service • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
