What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

If you thrive on travel, operating various equipment, and being part of a dynamic team, our Operator Driver position in Wichita, Kansas could be the perfect opportunity for you! As an Operator Driver, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality phosphate fertilizer to agriculture centers across the Midwest. Working closely with a team of 4 members, you'll travel directly to customers to produce fertilizer on-site. While driving constitutes only 20% of the job, you'll move the unit from site to site, covering approximately 50,000 miles per year. Main worksite: 1690 N 167th W Goddard, KS 67052 All interns and employees must undergo a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle report.

What the work involves

Join Blick’s through our SkillBridge CDL Driver Internship and launch a rewarding career in the agricultural services industry. Over 11 weeks, you'll gain hands-on experience operating and transporting specialized fertilizer equipment across the Midwest. The program includes a comprehensive introduction to industry operations, safety standards, and four weeks of professional CDL training to help you obtain your Class A license. You’ll work on a 4-person crew, learning to set up, operate, and maintain equipment on-site and off-site, while traveling between job locations. SkillBridge interns become familiar with DOT inspections, Excel-based reporting, and basic mechanical repairs on vehicles and production equipment. Upon successful completion, interns are offered full-time employment starting at $60,000 annually, with significant opportunities for advancement.
