What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

KMC Rubber is a custom rubber compounding manufacturer with operations in California, Georgia, and Mexico. The company has operated since 1919 and works across sectors including military, aerospace, medical, oil and gas, energy, mining, agriculture, and industrial applications. KMC Rubber holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and maintains a library of over 8,000 custom polymer formulations. The SkillBridge program runs in-person out of Athens, Georgia. Each track runs 151 to 180 days and is structured as on-the-job training. Four tracks are available: Laboratory Technician, Logistics Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Assurance Analyst.

Laboratory Technician interns conduct material testing, prepare elastomeric compounds, and document performance metrics while working within Mil-Spec, NSF, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Logistics Manager interns coordinate materials flow across the company's tri-regional manufacturing footprint and work with sustainable sourcing that includes recycled rubber components. Project Manager interns oversee custom manufacturing contracts, managing timelines, cross-functional communication, and resource allocation from compounding design through final production. Quality Assurance Analyst interns evaluate physical dimensions, material strength, and chemical resistance of nonmetallic components using ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 and ISO 9001:2015 frameworks.
