What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

KBT Realty Group has been a real estate team for 10 years and is one of the top producing teams with Keller Williams and other real estate groups in North Carolina. We sell properties in the following counties: Onslow, Pender, New Hanover and Brunswick Counties, NC which ends at the South Carolina state line. Our team consists of two owners, a total of 19 agents, and three administrative staff. Our vision for the SkillBridge opportunity is to provide the Service member with the working knowledge of a real estate company from the inside out. Learning the step-by-step process of how to operate a business, prior to engaging in that business, is invaluable. This unpaid internship is available for Service members that either have their real estate license or are in the process of obtaining their real estate license. We have designed our program to operate on the same basis as when new agents join our team. Our program is designed to provide training to build a career in real estate. Although it is not necessary to have a real estate license, it will be necessary to obtain the license to build a business through real estate sales and to receive commission on sales after completing the internship. The type of training received will include, but not limited to, the fundamentals of real estate including the home buying process, home selling process, productivity training, learning the MLS listing process, transaction closing process, lead generation, building a client sphere, marketing, software training and proficiency. When the internship reaches its endpoint, if the Service member is a licensed agent, the possibilities are endless. There is a 100% chance the Service member will be able to start a career as an agent provided they have passed the prelicensing exam. The success in that business depends on the application of the skills and tools provided during the internship and the individual's work ethic. Keller Williams/KBT Realty Services offers a free self-paced option to enroll in the North Carolina Prelicensing Class.
