What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Revit Designer Skilled mid-to-senior level CAD Designer - (Revit) to join our Phoenix, AZ team focusing on the design and drafting of various elements on a high profile project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, CAD software proficiency, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely design solutions for life safety systems.

What the work involves

Responsibilities:- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software (Revit) for fire alarm, sprinkler, or security systems based on project requirements.- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.- Perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems.- Modify and update existing drawings to reflect as-built conditions or changes during the project lifecycle.- Perform voltage drop and/or for sprinkler system hydraulic calculations and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and standards.- Create detailed layouts for audible and visible devices, schematics, and diagrams for installations, including electrical wiring and piping.- Review plans for quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer and code requirements.- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accessible.- Coordinate deliverables with Project Team. Qualifications:- Associate’s degree or technical certification in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in fire protection or security systems.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.- Familiarity with NFPA standards and other building codes.- NICET certification in fire alarm or special hazards system design, water-based systems and/or security systems is required.- Knowledge of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems or security system components.- Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- Ability to present clearly and technically sound design strategies.- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
