What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

DOD SkillBridge participants will first dive into a thorough electrical and mechanical systems training and testing program where their backgrounds will be reinforced with industry safety protocols, OSHA-10, NFPA-70E, and Red Cross certifications, our IT systems, data center electrical and mechanical systems, and our processes. Then you will head to the field for on the job training in commissioning for multiple weeks before being tested on your ability to perform independently. Once cleared by our industry-leading trainers, you'll be considered an authority in the field and will inspect and commission mission critical systems in the data center environment. Eligibility

What the work involves

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER has a technical background and in-depth expertise with the commissioning process including verification techniques, functional performance testing, critical power equipment and O&M knowledge. The role of the Commissioning Engineer is to act as a third-party authority systematically verifying that electrical nd mechanical systems are functioning in accordance with the design intent and Owner's Project Requirements (OPR). Some of the actions of the Engineer will include verification and testing during all 5 levels of commissioning, as per ASHRAE Guideline 0. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with bid and proposal development, Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with Clients / Engineers of Record / GC's / Subs / Vendors, Understand and effectively communicate the Cx process in meetings as needed, Develop Cx procedures with use of a template, customizing based on drawings and SOO, Assist PM with Cx Schedule development, Assist in the development of TAB Verification plan, Conduct TAB Verification as directed, Deploy data loggers in the proper areas for required data collection with direction, Assist PM with adjusting Cx schedule due to failures or equipment readiness changes, Assist with developing load bank requirements plan for an entire project (size, quantity, special connection requirements), Assist with verifying requirements and scheduling necessary test equipment for a project, Hook up PQM test equipment on all types of data center equipment, Operate (unassisted) PQM test equipment on all types of data center equipment, Coordinate and execute functional testing with support of team members, Fill in a daily onsite testing log, Perform infrared (IR) scanning/analysis and record data in spreadsheet, Mark IR Photos, Record PQM data in spreadsheet, Capture screenshots from PQM software, Assist with report development , QA/QC procedures, QA/QC written reports, QA/QC IR reports, QA/QC PQM reports and snapshots, Assist with developing a test plan for a non-standard product (Site Refresh, Non-Data Center/Mission Critical Facility)

The role of Quality Engineer provides inspections, examinations, and tests for electrical and mechanical components during construction projects in the mission critical environment. You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with industry personnel to maintain quality standards during construction of cutting-edge facilities. You will plan, develop, setup, supervise, and evaluate quality assurance and control activities and lead teams of inspectors on-site. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, equipment and site drawings, specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform inspections, examinations, and tests. Supervise and maintain surveillance over the inspections, examinations, and tests performed by other personnel. Use tools and equipment required for quality control and assurance. Determine measuring and test equipment is in proper condition for use. Effectively write and communicate reports and correspondence. Speak before groups of customers or employees of partner organizations. Lead quality meetings and coordinate resources for day-to-day scheduled activities. Review QA/QC plans, schedules, and reports. Develop, review, and approve inspection, examination, and test procedures. Plan and setup inspections, examinations, and tests. Interpret and evaluate the adequacy of procedures to accomplish the inspection, examination, and test objectives. Determine the validity of inspection, examination, and test results.
