MOU status: DoD MOU current through March 1, 2028.

What these labels mean
MOU active
An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon
The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired
The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated
The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing
The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing
Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing
Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Dates come from the government SkillBridge export. We do not screen, rank, or endorse organizations, and we take nothing from them.

Summary

H2 Enterprises offers a hands-on SkillBridge program for transitioning service members looking to move into construction, safety, operations, or leadership roles. This program provides real-world experience working alongside senior leaders in safety, equipment operations, project management, and human resources on active job sites. Participants will build practical skills in hazard recognition, leadership, and project execution while gaining exposure to multiple career paths within a veteran-supported company. This is an opportunity to translate military experience into a civilian career with purpose, growth, and long-term potential.

What the work involves

The H2 Enterprises Department of Defense SkillBridge Program provides transitioning service members with a structured, multi-disciplinary training opportunity focused on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) operations, equipment operations, project management (PM), and human resources (HR) within the construction, renewable energy, and land development industries. During the program, SkillBridge participants will observe, assist, and receive hands-on training in field safety operations including hazard recognition, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) development, safety inspections, and implementation of company safety policies and procedures. Participants will also be introduced to incident investigation processes, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and OSHA regulatory requirements applicable to construction and renewable energy projects. Participants will gain exposure to equipment operations and fleet management by working alongside experienced operators, General Superintendents, and field leadership to understand safe equipment use, daily inspections, maintenance coordination, and operational planning. This includes understanding how civil construction operations are executed and managed in the field. The program also provides exposure to project management functions through mentorship with Senior Project Managers and the Director of Operations, including job planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, quality control (QA/QC), and coordination with clients and subcontractors. Additionally, participants interested in leadership and administrative career paths will receive exposure to Human Resources functions under the HR Director, including onboarding processes, workforce development, training programs, and compliance with employment policies, while reinforcing a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization. The training experience is designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of how safety, operations, and workforce management integrate into daily project execution. Emphasis will be placed on leadership development, communication with field personnel, risk management, and proactive hazard prevention. Training areas include: • Field safety inspections and hazard identification • Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) development and review • Incident investigation and corrective action processes • OSHA regulatory compliance and documentation • Safety observation and leading indicator programs • Safety training coordination and workforce engagement • Equipment operations, inspections, and basic maintenance practices • Civil construction operations and field execution under General Superintendents • Project management fundamentals including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and QA/QC • Human resources processes including onboarding, compliance, and workforce development • Risk management and safe work planning in construction environments This SkillBridge program is designed to help transitioning service members translate their military leadership and operational experience into civilian careers in occupational safety, environmental health and safety (EHS), construction operations, equipment operations, project management, general superintendent roles, and workforce leadership positions.H2 Enterprises employs numerous prior service veterans and is committed to supporting service members as they transition into the civilian workforce by providing mentorship, professional development, and exposure to long-term career opportunities across safety, operations, project management, and HR leadership within the construction industry.
