MOU status: DoD MOU expires October 24, 2026. That is inside 90 days, so confirm the program is still running before you build a package around it.

What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

We are seeking self-starting, customer-value-oriented software engineers to join our Forward Deployed Engineering team. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Govini, you are accountable for building new and differentiated 0-to-1 capabilities in the field with our customers, end-to-end. Build and deliver working, customer-facing prototypes. Assess, prioritize, and correct the most important gaps in prototype solutions under development based on user feedback and in partnership with product managers Fail often, iterate quickly, and try again This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.This role may require up to 75% travel. Eligibility

Required Qualifications ● U.S. Citizenship is required ● Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Security, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or similar fields, or 3-7 years of equivalent experience ● Strong familiarity / skills with SQL, Python, and/or R. Familiarity with other skills such as Excel, React, Typescript, Java, C, Go Lang or ability to quickly learn these skills are also desirable. ● 3-7 years experience performing national security-related analytics; preference for research, quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization skills ● Knowledge of defense acquisition life cycle and program management, technology scouting, and supply chain risk management ● History of engaging with and presenting to federal Government stakeholders ● Excellent professional demeanor with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone in a fast-paced environment without hesitation ● Strong aptitude for solving open ended issues in unpredictable, unstructured environments ● Eligibility and willingness to obtain a U.S. security clearance ● Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills ● Ability to manage multiple work-streams and projects, learn quickly, and work independently with little supervision Desired Qualifications ● Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Security, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or similar fields ● 3-7 years of experience in user support or user engagement with a focus on platform and product utilization

What the work involves

Govini is looking for motivated, curious, and data-driven individuals to join our team as Senior Implementation Engineers. Senior Implementation Engineers at Govini have a quantitative mindset and fi rm understanding of how to use technology and data to solve hard customer problems. Senior Implementation Engineers are responsible for developing new methodologies to answer client questions with Govini’s data, leveraging quantitative skills to confi gure Govini’s technology to achieve customer outcomes, communicate data-driven insights to executives in the national security community, and oversee cross-functional teams to produce compelling program insights, data visualization, and briefi ngs. In order to do this job well, you must be analytical, understand people, have a strong drive to use technology to solve the hardest problems, have business acumen, and want to learn everything, particularly about the most pressing national security challenges confronting the nation and how data and machine learning can help address them. You understand the US Government and Defense acquisition processes and the importance of effective and effi cient program management, supply chain risk management, and program and technology modernization. You ask hard, uncomfortable questions. You have a professional acumen that allows you to lead conversations with top government agency offi cials. You know there are always multiple answers to hard problems, and you know how to engage in a constructive dialogue to fi nd the best path forward. This role is a full-time position located out of our offi ce in Arlington, VA.
