What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

What the work involves

Training Specifics On the Job Training: The training program is designed to provide interns with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to transition into full time employment with EnerSys. Interns will receive a combination of hands on, on-site training as well as classroom style and computer based training. Interns who demonstrate satisfactory completion of training objectives and receive positive performance reviews can expect to be offered full time employment at one of EnerSys’s facilities as a Environmental Lab Test Technician. Training objectives include: · Thermal Battery Static Testing: Test thermal batteries and assemblies following methods, procedures, standards and sequences. · Records Management: Maintain test records and data according to procedures and engineering requirements. · Environmental Test Setup: Lay out and assemble product and electronic equipment according to designs and specifications. · Environmental Equipment Knowledge: Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, test and maintain equipment, components, devices and systems. · Environmental Equipment Knowledge: Modify product and electronic equipment by adding, removing or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams, sketches and procedures. · Environmental Equipment Knowledge: Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components Professional Development: To enable all candidates to have long term, successful post-military careers, RecruitMilitary provides employment skill training and professional development coaching for all participating interns. This portion of the program includes participation in professional development seminars, close work with assigned mentors and practical applications to ensure all interns are armed with the requisite knowledge skills and abilities to develop and manage a successful civilian career after military service. Developmental topics include: · Creating resumes targeted to specific opportunities in specific fields of employment. · Leveraging social media to effectively network in the digital environment for career success. · Development of a coherent personal brand to effectively market the intern to potential employers. · Use of digital and online tools for targeted job searches and networking. · Development of skills necessary to secure, prepare for and succeed at job interviews and subsequent salary negotiations. Interns will participate in a comprehensive 120 day training program onsite in Pinellas Park, FL.Training Specifics On the Job Training: The training program is designed to provide interns with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to transition into full time employment with EnerSys. Interns will receive a combination of hands on, on-site training as well as classroom style and computer based training. What the work involves

Training Specifics On the Job Training: The training program is designed to provide interns with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to transition into full time employment with EnerSys. Interns will receive a combination of hands-on, on-site training. Interns who demonstrate satisfactory completion of training objectives and receive positive performance reviews can expect to be offered full-time employment at one of EnerSys’s facilities as a Services Installation Technician. Training objectives include: • Interns will be able to identify the various parts used during installation • Interns will be able to run various sizes of copper cable • Interns will be able to sew cable • Interns will be able to interact with the customer contact • Interns will be able to use hand tools including drills, saws, wrenches, crimpers • Interns will be able to use a drill • Interns will be able to mount various types of steel supports, ladder rack and telecom cabinets to floors and ceiling as appropriate • Interns will be able to run ground cables and attach them to the racks and building ground bars properly • Interns will be able to label and tag various types of equipment and cables using a P touch • Interns will be able to clean up sites post installation and adhere to good housekeeping • Interns will be able to take direction from the more Senior installation technician for advice and guidance.
