What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

DRG is a total training systems integrator. As both a prime and subcontractor, DRG is responsible for managing over 525 training devices in 80+ variations across the full spectrum of aircrew and maintenance training. To date, DRG has provided training to over 10,000 USAF, USN, USMC and foreign nation military personnel. DRG manages fighter pilot simulator training services as well as multiengine aerial refueling and cargo aircraft loadmaster and pilot training programs. Additionally, DRG maintains full-motion aircraft simulators, procedures and part task training for aircrew and maintenance personnel.

Summary

This position involves managing and directing maintenance operations for MQ-9 aircraft and associated equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and inspecting communication systems, scheduling satellite communications, ensuring optimal performance, and enforcing technical data compliance. The role also requires maintaining aircraft documentation, updating aircraft status, and ensuring safety and environmental regulations. Candidates need at least 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 1 year on MQ-1/MQ-9 aircraft, and must obtain a DoD security clearance. Physical demands include lifting 50 pounds and working in hazardous environments.

What the work involves

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Works directly with the Shift Lead to manage, control and direct resources to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled organizational-level maintenance utilizing applicable Air Force directives/instructions on MQ-9 aircraft and associated equipment. Directs and assists in the inspection, troubleshooting, and operations of communications equipment to include Ground Control Stations, Ground Data Terminals, standard 6 radio frequency, line-of-sight, beyond line-of-sight, wideband, ground-based satellite, peripheral computer/communications and cryptographic equipment. Schedules satellite communications airtime and coordinates link activation with Department of Defense and civilian agencies. Assembles, connects, secures and interconnects components such as transmitters, power supplies and antenna assemblies. Monitors and de-conflicts transmit/receive signals to ensure optimum performance and prevents interference with other satellite users. Installs network technical solutions for real-time video dissemination via Remote Split Operations architecture. Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures. Ensures aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation is complete, accurate and accomplished. Implements disaster control duties and responsibilities pertaining to aircraft/SE movement and personnel evacuation. Follows established CANN procedures and updates CANN action status on assigned aircraft. Understands aircraft status and inventory reporting as covered in Air Force Instruction 21-103 and applicable supplements. Informs and provides aircraft status updates to Shift Lead and the Maintenance Operations Control Center. Verifies MICAP conditions exist and reviews MICAP‘s status daily for accuracy. Ensures strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance. Ensures compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications. Encourages a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time accidents. Qualifications Required Education and Experience Must have at least four (4) years of experience in aircraft maintenance. Must have at least one (1) year of experience on the MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft. Supervisory Responsibilities As Required Security Responsibilities Eligible and obtain a DoD Personnel Security Clearance. Must successfully complete CONUS Recovery Center (CRC) training to deploy. Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex word and technical documents/diagrams. Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and work effectively as part of a team. Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
