Your Role as the Pipefitter: Measure, layout, assemble, install and maintain piping systems by means of threading, brazing, soldering or welding. Performs preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Operate cutting tools by using saws, pipe cutter, cutting torch and all other machinery designed for cutting operations. Thread pipe by fixed or portable threading machines. Operate tools. What You Bring to the Team: Use mathematical concepts such as simple addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages to precut pipe by reading blue prints and any other mechanical functions as required. Problem solve as an individual or team environment. Strong written and communication skills with supervisors, customer and fellow craftsmen.
