What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Summary

Explore a life-changing career as you transition out of the military. David Roberts Consulting, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), provides SkillBridge internship opportunities for military members transitioning from military service to civilian employment. Service members are eligible to utilize SkillBridge within 180 days of their scheduled separation from service. The internship is a 6-month program designed to bring your skills and military experience to the civilian sector. This program takes place during your last days of service, allowing you to explore a new career path while earning your current pay and maintaining your military benefits. As an employer partner, David Roberts Consulting provides opportunities for service members to gain the skills, knowledge, and certifications to gain employment in the public sector. This opportunity offers several career choices to the candidate, and all needed training is included. Candidates can choose to live in a variety of Oklahoma locations.

Eligibility

Good driving record; clean criminal record. Drivers must be at least 26 years old; other opportunities have no age limit.

What the work involves

Job descriptions include training to work with mental health populations. Opportunities include mechanics, drivers, and security guards. Ride Care Driver: We are seeking flexible, organized, efficient, and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Transportation Drivers. Vehicle and expenses provided. Pay range: $20-$30/hour depending on certifications and experience.DR Security: We are looking for competent Security Officers who can detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activities. This individual must be trained in managing individuals experiencing a mental crisis. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation skills. Pay range: $20-$30/hour.
