What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Eligibility

Corient has many offices across the country. Some may have greater capacity and interest in a Skillbridge fellow than others. In all cases, a thorough application process helps us optimize the chances of a good fit.

What the work involves

Responsibilities: Collect and analyze client financial information to understand their goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situation. Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids to be used in meetings with clients. Input data, prepare financial plans and preliminary recommendations / solutions for Wealth Strategist or Wealth Advisor review and use in client meetings. This would include: Tax planning Estate planning Insurance recommendations Charitable gifting College planning Monitor asset allocations and rebalance as needed to align with clients' investment policy statement and overall goals and objectives. Review and follow up on operation items such as wires, journals, account openings, charitable requests and other custodian specific items. Prepare and review investment portfolio recommendations for prospects and clients. Collaborate with senior team members to develop comprehensive financial plans that align with clients’ objectives. Conduct investment asset class research. Compile, enter, and monitor CRM workflows related to client financial planning requests. Support the Wealth Planning Team. Qualifications & Requirements: Demonstrated progress toward CFP® designation preferred. Understanding of tax, investments, and estate planning preferred. Proficient project management and presentation skills. Professional business acumen and enhanced communication skills. Strong intrinsic motivation, self-starter with strong analytical skills who will work both independently and as part of a high-touch team Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organization skills High emotional intelligence and situational awareness A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion This position description is intended to provide a general overview of the expectations and responsibilities of this position and may not include all tasks that may be assigned.
