What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

SkillBridge Opportunity Summary The SkillBridge Program at Consolidated Paving & Concrete is a 4-month (120-day) training opportunity designed to help transitioning service members gain hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills in construction management, heavy equipment operation, or CDL training. During the program, service members continue to receive their military pay and benefits while training with industry professionals. Program Highlights: Comprehensive Training (960 hours total) in safety, project management, budgeting, and industry-specific skills. Hands-on Experience (480 hours) tailored to the participant’s chosen track: Construction Management: On-site project oversight, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance. Heavy Equipment Operation: Equipment maintenance, excavation, material handling.CDL Training: Classroom instruction, driving practice, vehicle inspection. Professional Development (80 hours) including leadership workshops, resume building, and networking with potential employers. What the work involves

SkillBridge Opportunity – Job Duties The SkillBridge Program at Consolidated Paving & Concrete prepares transitioning service members for careers in construction management, heavy equipment operation, or CDL driving by providing hands-on training, mentorship, and industry-relevant skills. Participants will gain practical experience in job site operations, project coordination, and safety compliance while working alongside experienced professionals. Job Duties by Track: Construction Management Track Assist in on-site project management, including scheduling and coordination. Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Monitor site safety and compliance, enforcing OSHA and company standards. Track project progress, maintain records, and assist with reporting. Gain experience with budgeting, cost control, and contract management. Heavy Equipment Operation Track Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and dozers. Assist in site preparation, grading, and excavation. Safely handle and transport construction materials. Follow safety protocols for heavy equipment operation and conduct daily inspections.CDL Training Track Complete classroom instruction on CDL regulations and requirements. Gain hands-on driving experience with commercial vehicles. Conduct vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Learn and adhere to DOT safety regulations and compliance standards. General Responsibilities (All Tracks): Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times. Attend daily briefings and team meetings to discuss progress and tasks.
