Key Responsibilities Monitor security tools, SIEM dashboards, and network activity to identify threats, anomalies, and indicators of compromise Investigate security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate containment and remediation actions Conduct vulnerability assessments, track findings, and support patch management to reduce exploitable risks Implement and maintain security controls including endpoint protection, access management, and network segmentation Review logs, alerts, and audit data to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards Support development and refinement of security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks Collaborate with IT teams to validate system hardening, configuration baselines, and secure architecture practices Prepare reports, metrics, and documentation for leadership, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or security monitoring Strong understanding of network security, threat analysis, and common attack vectors Familiarity with SIEM platforms, endpoint security tools, and vulnerability scanners Knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, DoD, or other relevant security frameworks Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
