What these labels mean
- MOU active
- An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
- MOU expires soon
- The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
- MOU expired
- The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
- MOU date not stated
- The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
- Detailed listing
- The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
- Partial listing
- Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
- Sparse listing
- Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

As a SkillBridge Participant, you will work as an integral part of our consulting teams over 10-weeks during the summer 2026. You will support strategic projects across various industries, collaborating closely with teammates and clients to deliver high-impact solutions. This role provides unique access to Bain's world-class resources and training programs, preparing you for a smooth transition into the consulting field. The SkillBridge Program at Bain offers a rich consulting experience tailored to your background and goals.
Eligibility
The following are typical requirements for the Bain SkillBridge Program. • Active-duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge, within 6 months of separation from the military • Demonstrated analytical abilities with a strong comfort level working with data and quantitative information • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment • A desire to learn about management consulting and gain practical experience in a dynamic business setting • Experience leading projects, working within teams, and delivering high-impact results • Fluency in English • Proof of graduation from a 4-year undergrad program or other advanced degree programs
What the work involves
Over the course of the summer, you will work directly with case teams and clients to solve business problems and drive change, being immersed in the responsibilities of a full-time Bain consultant, including... • Working closely with full-time consultants [who will provide coaching and mentoring] • Working with clients from Fortune 500 companies, midsize firms, non-profits and start-ups across many fast-changing industries such as consumer goods and retail, technology and telecommunication, financial services, industrial products, private equity and many others • Presenting the results of your work to Partners and clients • Applying knowledge and skills from your first year of business school, you will gain access to an unparalleled range and depth of opportunities
