What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

About ASSOCIATED TRAINING SERVICES CORP

Associated Training Services (ATS) is a private vocational training school located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The school offers entry-level training programs for heavy equipment operators, crane operators, riggers, signalpersons, and Class-A CDL truck drivers. ATS has been in operation for over fifty years and holds accreditations that include recognition from the Wisconsin Educational Approval Board and membership in organizations such as the Associated General Contractors of America and the Associated Builders and Contractors. Crane programs are structured to help students pursue certification through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).

SkillBridge interns at ATS participate in hands-on, in-person training programs that run up to thirty days. Depending on the track selected, an intern may operate equipment such as wheel loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, scrapers, motor graders, and skid steers, or work with telescopic boom cranes, lattice boom cranes, tower cranes, articulated boom cranes, and digger derricks. CDL track participants work toward the skills and knowledge required for a Class-A commercial driver's license. All programs include safety protocols, equipment inspections, and coordination with ground crews or supervisors.

ATS operates seven SkillBridge program locations, all within Wisconsin. Graduates receive employment assistance that includes job leads in their local communities. Dormitory housing assistance is available for students who need to relocate for the duration of their training.
