What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

Apollo's SkillBridge program runs in-person at 4 locations across 2 states — Ohio and Oregon — and each program runs 121 to 150 days. Two tracks are available: a Mechanical Data Center Commissioning Engineer track and an Electrical Data Center Commissioning Engineer track. Both are structured as on-the-job training under the mentorship of senior engineers on active mission-critical projects.

In the mechanical track, interns test and validate equipment including chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers, humidification systems, and Building Management and Automation Systems. In the electrical track, interns work with transformers, switchgear, UPS units, Static Transfer Switch units, Power Distribution Units, Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, and BMS. Across both tracks, interns conduct site inspections, create commissioning plans and checklists for Level 2 through Level 5 systems, perform functional performance tests, document findings, and attend project meetings. The program carries the potential for full-time employment following transition.

This immersive program emphasizes attention to detail, high-pressure performance, and the fundamentals of data center electrical commissioning, preparing participants for a successful future in data center operations and commissioning, with the potential for full-time employment post-transition.
