What these labels mean

MOU active: An MOU is the agreement between an employer and the SkillBridge program. When it expires, the employer has to renew it before it can take new service members.
MOU expires soon: The agreement ends within 90 days. That is not a reason to rule a program out. It is a reason to ask the employer where the renewal stands.
MOU expired: The date on the government listing has passed. We still show the program, because hiding it would shrink this directory in a way we could not explain. Confirm status with the employer before you apply.
MOU date not stated: The government listing carries no expiration date for this organization.
Detailed listing: The employer filled in most of its record: length, delivery method, eligibility, and a description of the work.
Partial listing: Some of those fields are filled in and some are blank.
Sparse listing: Very little of the record is filled in. That is common, and it is not a judgment about the program or the employer. It does mean you will have to ask them more questions directly.

ACE SkillBridge - Trades & Leadership Development Location: Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott, Albuquerque Program Length: 12–24 weeks (customized based on service member availability)Start Date: Ongoing enrollment Program Overview: The ACE SkillBridge Program is built specifically for transitioning service members who are ready to build a career in the skilled trades or operational leadership. We offer hands-on, real-world training in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, customer service, dispatch, and operational management, all while being mentored by prior-service leaders who have successfully made the transition themselves. What You’ll Learn: Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical systems Customer service and dispatch operations in a service business environment Leadership, team management, and operational best practices Business fundamentals: scheduling, field operations, service management How to deliver world-class customer experiences and drive service excellence Who We’re Looking For: Active-duty service members approved to participate in a DoD SkillBridge Program A strong work ethic and commitment to personal growth A team-first mentality and a willingness to learn new skills Prior experience in mechanical systems, electrical systems, construction, logistics, or leadership roles is a plus, but not required What We Offer: Structured hands-on training led by experienced tradespeople and business leaders Direct mentorship from ACE leaders, many of whom are veterans themselves Real-world work, not just observation A clear pathway to full-time employment opportunities at ACE after completion A team environment that values integrity, hard work, and leadership
